Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy
Summary
- Custom items are final sale.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of verified defects or incorrect items.
- All returns, exchanges, and warranty claims require prior approval.
- Any exceptions are goodwill gestures and do not set precedent.
Returns (Non-Custom Items Only)
We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as received, with all original packaging included. Proof of purchase is required.
To request a return, contact us at WiredIn@WiredInStore.com. All returns must be approved prior to being sent back. Items returned without authorization will not be accepted.
We reserve the right to approve or deny any return at our discretion.
Updated clarification: In cases where a product is reported as defective but is confirmed to be fully functional during in-house diagnostics, the return may be denied or may remain subject to a 15% restocking fee, regardless of whether video evidence was provided. Issues caused by specific system configurations, environmental factors, or niche compatibility scenarios (including certain 8k polling setups) are not considered product defects.
Restocking Fee
Approved returns that are not the result of a defect, damage, or fulfillment error may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Restocking fees do not apply to defective, damaged-in-transit, or incorrect items.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom or made-to-order products, including custom cables
- Sale items
- Gift cards
- Perishable goods
- Hazardous or flammable materials
Custom items are produced specifically for each order and cannot be returned for refund under any circumstances.
Defective Items, Exchanges & Resolution Windows
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us promptly if there is an issue.
- 0–14 days: Eligible for return or exchange (non-custom items only).
- 15–30 days: Eligible for exchange or repair only. Refunds are not available after the 14-day return window.
- After 30 days: Handled as a warranty claim only.
Manufacturing defects must be reported within the 14-day return window. Issues reported after this period are handled as warranty claims.
Verification Requirement
For all defect, exchange, or warranty claims, we may require photo or video evidence demonstrating the issue prior to approval.
Claims may be delayed or denied if requested verification is not provided.
Lifetime Warranty on Custom Cables
All custom cables are covered by a lifetime functional warranty.
This warranty covers functional failures during normal use, including accidental or user-caused damage, at our discretion.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic wear, aesthetic changes, or intentional damage.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
For orders shipped into the European Union, customers may cancel or return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, excluding custom or made-to-order products, which are exempt.
Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once an approved return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund.
