Gateron Fades are a collaboration between Bowl Keyboards and Gateron. They’re a full-travel switch with a rail-style bottom-out and a polished stem, giving them a sound profile that’s familiar to anyone who likes Cherry MX switches.
The polished stem makes them noticeably smoother, which is why most people are happy running them stock—lubed if you want that extra smoothness, or unlubed if you still like a touch of texture. Both options share the exact same specs; the only difference is the factory lube.
